On board the Little Train, discover Grimaud, a mediaeval hanging village situated beneath its feudal castle above the Gulf of St Tropez. The Castle was built in the 11th century, fortified in the 15th century and has been regularly renovated over the years. You will pass St Michael’s Church, the Chapel of St Roch and the magnificent St Roch windmill whose grinding mechanism is constructed entirely of wood. You will notice numerous fountains, one of which is surmounted by the coat of arms of the castle, the numerous "trompe l’oeil" murals and the Museum of Art and Provencal Traditions which has a sundial on its facade. The Little Train stops at la Place Neuve shaded by "Micocouliers", typical Provencal trees, some of which are as much as 100 years old. If you wish, can stay and explore the mediaeval village of Grimaud, the shops, etc... before returning on a later train. PRICES :
